Black Bean & Chickpea Burger
Dive into a divine vegetarian dining experience. Shane and I decided to eat vegetarian for 2 weeks as a part of a detox. I plan to blog about my vegetarian experience next, but for now I will say it was an amazing experience and I felt incredible! Throughout the 2 weeks we had to get very creative with our meals as we never resorted to just pasta or processed vegetarian friendly foods. We were craving something hearty and savory. This black bean and chickpea burger was so satisfying and delicious. I spent over a week creating different versions and perfecting this recipe. The recipe is simple and easy to make. I've included a link in the recipe to Shane's Homemade Sesame Seed Bun recipe as well. If you are so inclined to make the bun, it is excellent! However it does take a bit more time. Enjoy however you want and add your desired toppings!
