Bruschetta

Yields about 4 Servings as Appetizers

Total Prep & Cook Time - 20 minutes

Ingredients:

| 2 Plum Tomatoes

| 1 Garlic Clove

| Handful of Fresh Large Basil Leaves

| 2 Tspn Olive Oil

| Salt

| Pepper

| Parmesan Cheese Shredded 

| Fresh Baguette Bread - Sliced

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. Dice fresh tomatoes

  3. Mince garlic

  4. Chop basil

  5. Toss together with 1 tspn or so of olive oil

  6. Add pinch of salt and pepper to taste

  7. Toast baguette slices (about 12-16 slices). Place sliced bread on cookie sheet and toast for about 3-5 minutes. 

  8. Combine 1 Tbsp olive oil, pinch of salt and pepper, pinch of red pepper flakes and dried basil. Mix and lightly brush onto toasted baguette slices.

  9. Top bread slices with tomato mixture 

  10. Finish with fresh chopped basil as garnish and shredded parmesan cheese
